Oliver Venture Partners, Inc., (OVP), is a private equity firm focused on multi-family and commercial real estate investments in the United States. OVP was founded in 1998 and has significant assets and transactional experience. The firm has acquired and developed assets of over $85,000,000 including 3,000 apartments, townhouses, and offices in Colorado, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Virginia, and Washington D.C.

OUR TEAM
Burt H. Lowe, Partner
Dr. Lowe has over twenty years of management experience in planning, developing, administering and evaluating mental health, mental retardation and substance abuse services. Most recently, he administered a $20 million budget and over 500 employees as the head of Chesterfield Country's Department of Health and Human Services. Since 1995, Dr. Lowe has invested in and managed over 300 apartments in the Richmond Virginia Metropolitan area. He is a graduate of George Washington University, and holds a masters degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Miami (Ohio) University. Dr. Lowe is an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and John Tyler Community College.

Justin C. Oliver, Managing Partner
Mr. Oliver is the President and CEO of Oliver Properties, LLC, and the Managing Partner of Oliver Venture Partners, Inc. He also serves as the Director of Government Affairs for Covectra, Inc. He specializes in business strategy, finance, acquisitions, development, and asset management. Mr. Oliver is an experienced executive and manager drawing on in a wide range of experiences ranging from building new lines of business within Fortune 500 Companies to founding and managing a private equity firm. Prior to joining Oliver Properties, he was a Senior Consultant with BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting) and a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Sen. John Breaux. He earned a M.B.A. from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, and a B.A. from the College of William & Mary.

Mark R. Oliver, Partner
Mr. Oliver is Co-founder of Oliver Venture Partners and VP of Oliver Properties, LLC, specializing in construction, historic renovation and construction management. He has over twenty years of real estate experience as an investor, contractor and property manager. Mr. Oliver is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and a Class A licensed contractor.

Robert B. Oliver, Partner
Dr. Oliver has invested in and managed multi-family housing properties for over twenty-five years. He has significant transactional experience having acquired over 3,000 apartments in the United States. Mr. Oliver is a former tenured Professor of Public Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University and continues to teach as an adjunct professor. He is a graduate of Barrington College, and holds a masters degree from Columbia University and Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.
